House Rules
Hotel De Bilt - Utrecht has expressed in several house rules what is expected from visitors within the hotel and what you can expect from us. When entering Hotel De Bilt - Utrecht, these house rules will apply, and you agree to the house rules drawn up as below.
Visit
1. Hotel visitors must always be checked in and out at the reception. If you expect a visit, you must pick it up at the reception.
2. Paid reception of guests in the hotel room is forbidden.
Nuisance
3. Noise nuisance is permitted for maintaining peace in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.
Fire safety
4. Smoking is not allowed in the rooms and public areas. In the event of a first violation of these regulations, a fine of € 100 will be imposed. In the case of a second violation, removal from the hotel will take place.
5. If one smokes cannabis in the rooms, a fine of € 150 will be imposed and removal from the hotel will take place.
6. Covering fire alarms in the rooms will be fined with € 200 per violation and removal from the hotel will take place.
Alcohol and drug use
7. Hotel De Bilt - Utrecht must comply with the requirements of the Beverage and Catering legislation, therefore alcoholic beverages are not provided to visitors under the age of 18. When in doubt about the age of a visitor, our hotel staff ask you to show proof of identity.
8. In order not to have a negative influence on the atmosphere during the stay, no alcohol will be served on the person in question if he is suspected of being drunk.
9. In order to offer our guests a pleasant stay, it is prohibited to own, use or trade in (soft) drugs (including laughing gas) or weapons.
Check-out time
10. Check-in is possible from 15:00 and check-out must be before 11:00. If you wish to stay longer or want a late check out (up to a maximum of 18:00 and only based on availability), you must let us know before 11:00 at the latest. The extension must also be settled before 11:00, after which we will extend your room pass
General
11. All instructions from employees of Hotel De Bilt - Utrecht, which are related to the house rules, must be followed immediately.
12. At various places within the hotel there are cameras, everyone who is in our hotel agrees to make recordings. In case of calamities and/or incidents, these recordings can be shown as supporting material to the authorities.
13. We treat each other with respect and it is therefore forbidden to make insults or make discriminatory comments, either by word or gesture (act), to sexually intimidate our guests and employees.
14. During your stay you will use belongings of Hotel De Bilt - Utrecht and third parties, it is forbidden to commit theft or vandalism.
15. In order to keep the peace, order and safety within the hotel, it is forbidden to use violence or to threaten with it.
16. At Hotel De Bilt - Utrecht, we appreciate that you use the public spaces, but this is done at your own risk.
17. Van der Valk Hotel De Bilt -Utrecht does not make its location available for purposes other than those stated in our policy, it is therefore prohibited to trade, heal goods or offer services. The amount of a room already paid will not be refunded.
18. The employees of our hotel monitor your safety, in the event of an emergency, the emergency plan comes into effect. You are kindly but urgently requested to follow any instructions from the employees.
In all cases not provided for in these regulations, the management of Van der Valk hotel De Bilt -Utrecht will decide. If you do not follow these rules, you will be placed on our black list . Or it may be decided to call in the police and the judiciary and you will be asked to leave the building immediately. The hotel reserves the right to terminate the reservation immediately without refund of the paid reservation amount.
