Update March 16, 1 PM:

Van der Valk Hotels & Restaurants applies stricter measures.

As a family business, Van der Valk gives the highest priority to the health, safety and well-being of our guests and employees. In view of the recent developments and the newly announced government measures, Van der Valk closed all its Dutch and Belgian restaurants until Monday the 6th of April. Our hotels are open. We naturally hope that this will help prevent further spread of COVID-19.

Our family business has been an important meeting place in our society for many decades. Many social networks are established within our branches and are maintained there. The steps we are taking now therefore feel as unreal and have long been seen as unthinkable. However, in these exceptional circumstances, there is no other choice. We trust that, we as a society, will do whatever it takes to put an end to this situation and that we will be strong and resilient in the subsequent recovery. For the most frequently asked questions and answers, we would like to refer you to RIVM.

With kind regards,

Anne Deenik – van der Valk & Folkert Deenik
